Answer:	They are excellent to keep with you or in your car. They kill the stain before it sets in. I spilled spaghetti sauce on a shirt at a restaurant and pulled out a Shout Wipe and it took the stain right out.

Question:	What is the pen's metal casing like, is it durable
Answer:	I have a black color pen and use it daily. Over time, the color coating will wear off (in small batches and especially around the area where the cap closes at the body), and reveals a bronze-like color beneath. At other scratched areas at the top of the cap, the underlying color is a metallic gray. But it still looks nice and I continue to use as one of my many daily carries.

Answer:	The question is imprecise. Any fountain pen ink is suitable for use in this pen. Waterman, Diamine, J. Herbin, Robert Oster, etc., etc. Any bottle that says Fountain Pen Ink will do.

Answer:	Mine did not smudge.

Answer:	very fine, 0.38mm. super smooth. I work in the Medical field and use it for charting! I may buy it again.

Answer:	They only bleed through thin paper if you try to color with these pens, but regular printer paper they do not bleed through. When I write with these pens on thin paper, they do not bleed through so if you're using them to write, you should be fine.

Question:	Does this pen have a fluted barrel or is it smooth like the newer flairs
Answer:	-----I think I know what you mean by "fluted." The barrel is smooth, but there is a ridge on the barrel that will provide a better grip. The ring or ridge is a little higher up than I like for a comfortable grip, but it will help a lot. As I remember, it is possible to order just one, so that you can really tell if you like it. I do not remember ever having seen the older flair with the fluted barrel. ---Jim

Answer:	It's just like any felt tip pen so I would say cost to .7 lead them .5 not as thick as a felt tip marker for coloring but not like a ball point pin. I love these.

Answer:	I haven't tried either, but I personally wouldn't use them on wood or chalkboards. I don't think they would show up very well. Also, they are washable like Crayola markers.

Answer:	Maybe white, smooth rocks. I think the ink would not rub off eventually, but I would not say these markers are ideal for coloring on rocks. I don't think the ink would show up or be true to color on most rocks.
