Answer:	The spine on the back of the compatible InReach units will slide into this clip and lock in place.

Answer:	In semi trucks these are used for electronic logs. They are like a heavy tablet and they are screwed directly into the dash. This set does not come with a plate to go behind the dash. I'm not sure if there are plates for behind the dash

Answer:	You may have to drill some holes in your GPS bracket to align with the RAM mount holes, but yes it should work. I've had one of these mounts on my boat for years and really like it.

Answer:	It is rated up to two lbs. If you're within the weight range but using it is high vibration environment you may want to consider the next size up with the 1.5" ball. That part # is RAM-101U.

Answer:	If you are mounting it on wood (such as a shelf or cabinet) I would use round headed wood screws as the mount base holes are not countersunk. If you are mounting it to metal I would through bolt it using a backing plate if the metal in thin. You could also pop rivit it if the back side of the metal isn’t accessible.

Question:	Is this sturdy enough to play with once it’s built
Answer:	Yes, I gave this particular puzzle to my son in law and he and his friends have had a lot of fun playing with it. It is not something that can be banged around a lot but it is strong enough to use to entertain friends with. Some of the more tenuous junctions I put together with glue. It is an enjoyable puzzle project.

Question:	What size is the after assembly
Answer:	It’s approximately 8 or 9 inches tall at it’s highest point and I would say approximately an 8”x8” square. My husband enjoyed putting it together but it no longer is operational. Some of the pieces were warped when we got it and he had to make them fit. It worked at first, but the pieces did not hold up.
Question:	Our kit is missing the wax- any suggestions on what we could use as a substitute- it is not working without it
Answer:	How about a silicone spray? I gave this as a gift so I did not assemble it and don't know about the wax. If it directs you to certain places to apply the wax, then I think a silicone spray would work just fine. You could apply it sparingly, not just spray the whole think, but that might work too. Check out a hobby store or hardware store. Good luck.

Question:	the wood feels too hard and I couldnt start the carving. Any suggestions? thanks
Answer:	I used one on a Squier Tele and a Squier Strat. Its a little wide for the Tele neck so i had to fiel the sides. The string spacing still worked out though. Tone wise, this added a lot more snap to the tele, especially compared to the original plastic nut. It was a bit too much for me and created some harmonics I didn't like. I ended up replacing this and the brass brass saddles, both with TUSQ.

Answer:	No these are for stratocaster tele type guitars.

Answer:	I don’t recall if it was stated on the package, but I’ve had these knives for almost 6 months, daily whittling and they are still fine knives
Question:	What size are the gloves? I have an 8yo son with a 7” palm size
Answer:	The gloves are large and they stretch. I would still purchase the kit and get your son some smaller gloves. Happy carving.

Answer:	I am not sure. But it was very easy for my 12 year old and he is right handed so I can’t imagine it being too difficult for someone that is left handed

Question:	Where are these knives manufactured
Answer:	They do stay in place. I have only tried the overnights so can't comment on the regular size. They fit in back like underwear and have stayed in place so far.

Answer:	No I had to use hot water and spot treat with Clorox even tho that weakens the neoprene oh well! Love them despite that!

Answer:	Unsure but I don’t think you would return them. These are amazing and a life saver. I suffered from constant yeast infections before I switched. Haven’t had a problem in over a year!

Forging

Hutsuls blades are made from the finest quality high carbon stainless steel.

In the process of forging carbon steel is really important to get to the critical temperature which helps to refine the grain structure inside the blade and remove any stress from the metal.

Hardening

Next comes the hardening process that will make the blade extremely durable and able to hold a sharp edge.

The blades are placed into a specialized hardening furnace containing the hydrogen and nitrogen protective atmosphere. The blades are heated for a proper time period at a temperature of nearly 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

After exposure to this extreme temperature, the blades are rapidly cooled transforming the steel from a relatively soft state to a hard state with a very fine very strong grain structure.

Tempering

In the third step, blades are placed back into a specialized hardening furnace. This time the back of the blade is facing toward the heat. This will give us our hotter section on the back where we want the blade softer.

When the blades get to blue at the back and wheat at the edge, they are dipped into the oil to lock them in.

After the extreme heat and ultimate cold, the characteristics of each blade are well balanced among strength, hardness, stain resistance, and most of all the ability to hold a sharp edge.
