Answer:	The Omnigrid 4” scissors are made in Japan. They are the best, little scissors I’ve ever owned. I took a chance with them, then bought a second pair because I was so impressed with them. The blades are sharp and so is the point. Need to be careful with them. Worth every penny.

Answer:	On the scissor blade it says Omnigrid and on the handle it says S-4 Japan. I no longer have the packaging to check but that is what is written on the scissors.

Answer:	The metal tends to expand the first few times each nib is used. In my experience, I have used a pair of needle nose plyers to unscrew and remove the frozen nib. Be gentle, make sure you are turning in the correct direction.

Answer:	I've tried it on bone and antler. It works well enough but is considerably harder to work with than wood.

Question:	Do the number tips fit on this pen
Answer:	The tips have to be able to screw in. Any tip that you use needs to be made of good material or the tip will become loose and not heat up right. Even the tips that come with this burner become loose after it gets really hot. You really need to be careful not to put any pressure on the tip while using it since that will really make them loose. If you take care it does work really pretty good for small jobs.
Question:	Is this all i need to start carving into a wooden walnut canvis
Answer:	This is NOT any of the necessary items to start carving wood.This is sufficient to get started with pyrography / wood burning into wood. Do keep in mind that it lacks any sort of temperature adjustment for pyrography. As a first timer kit or for simple projects (bold dark lettering outlines etc) it is acceptable.
Question:	Can you use this on leather
Answer:	It heats up evenly and thoroughly so you should definitely be able to use this on leather, being careful to use light touches and differing nibs for effect.

Answer:	The wood burner I got gets very hot very fast. The easiest way to cut stencils is an exactor knife or cricut machine.

Answer:	I've used this style of wood burning pen on several cutting boards and it'll do the job. I, personally, find the power cord to be very inconvenient and have since upgraded to a cordless butane powered pen but nothing would prevent this pen from working on a cutting board (you'll want to make sure the oil on the board wont interfere with your wood burning or burn before you apply the oil and conditioner).

Answer:	Doesn’t seem to be. I did all my ornaments at once then laid them out of the stovetop and hit them all with the heat gun at once.

Answer:	Yes. The bigger the stencil, the more "ink" is used. I've used small stencils, but I draw them out first. If you just use the pens with the stencils, tape it down and keep wiping it off, so it doesn't run onto your project.

Question:	Does this product have stencils
Answer:	Yes, looks burned, even the smell of burned but not the indention like it would be with the actual wood burner. I love it. I have done several crosses and ornaments already - I do with the pens lasted longer then what they do but I am hooked! And depending on the wood, it does bleed some on certain areas but to me it just adds more character - it's not enough where it ruins if it does.

Question:	Is it common for the pens to get too hot to hold
Answer:	I managed to do a 1" wide lace pattern on the border of a 12" x 40" shelf, as well as a 6"x6" lace diamond in the center. That used up about 20% of the pen.

Answer:	Yes, though it will take a little longer than a true heat gun, and likely won't achieve it's darkest color (this might not be an issue with some blow dryers, but most aren't hot enough)

Answer:	If you are using a heat gun..use low setting and heat until it’s as dark as you want...the tip isn’t very fine...and unfortunately you can see the fluid as you are applying...if you trace a pencil outline it helps..
Question:	Does it have automatic heat shut off
Answer:	This is very simple! You only need to use paper towels at home. Any paper towel that can absorb water will do. Until the nib ink is soaked up. I think this is a necessary procedure. But it is by no means a trouble. Yes, I have tried it and it succeeded.
