Answer:	I bought this organizer for my Grandson for his fossil and rock collection. I think it would work for beads, but you would probably need tweezers to pick them out of the compartments.

Answer:	The fixed dividers are 1 3/4" apart. There are places to put subdividers ever 1 1/8".
