Answer:	No, it only goes in one direction
Question:	What is the measured revolutions per minute (rpm) for the wheel? I'm asking because i'd intend to use it for cake and pastry decorating
Answer:	I'm not sure what the rpm is of the wheel since I haven't measured it but it may be helpful to know that the wheel itself is not very big and may not be large enough for your cakes unless they are very small. I could also see the weight of an object on the wheel slowing it down. It's really meant for smaller objects. Now if you are doing smaller cakes and small pastries then I can see where this may work but I think you can purchase a rotating cake pedestal for less money and more control on the rotating speed.
Question:	do the pots need to be fired
Answer:	It's been many years sincere bought this for my daughter, but I don't r call them having to be fired. Very enjoyable for my daughter (now 15) at the time.

Answer:	I don’t think you can replace the wire unless you are good at rigging things up.

Answer:	Depends on how soft the soap blocks are. This cutter is made to cut through clay for potters and clay is really soft for throwing. (Clay is usually a little stiffer than cream cheese.) So, if your soap is really soft it would work, if not, it won't.
