Answer: I have been doing this for a LONG TIME. The best way is to join a DVD Blu Ray Cover sight. One of my favorite is Cover City. Buy maybe 5 dollars worth of downloads, and choose and download a BLU RAY label to print on your disc. You will get a lot of downloads for that 5 dollar investment. You really should only use an Epson printer. Get an All in One printer, that prints on CDs, and it will come with a program called CD Print. I got my printer new on Amazon for $89.00. You can buy an Epson XP-7100 for $99.00. Just download the label to your desktop, right click it, and choose, open with CD Print. All you do then is load your Blu Ray into the CD tray on your Epson printer, and click the print option in the program CD Print. Choose 21mm diameter for the hub hole, and 120mm for the outside diameter of the disk. In about 30-40 seconds you will have a Blu Ray that looks as if it came from the store printed like that. let it dry for about a day, and avoid getting it wet. It is VERY EASY. I have tried other printer brands and they simply pail in comparison with the Epson. Just order compatible ink online for about 1/4 of the cost of the Epson Ink. Do not let them scare you by saying you MUST use their ink. I have NEVER bought that expensive ink. I used to buy refurbished Epson printers that came with ink, for less than the cost of 1 ink replacement. Congress has said that the Copier companies cannot deny you your warranties for not using Epson ink. I hope this has helped. This will amaze you.

They're not very common, except in special cases due to the recording surface being more fragile, and that they can't be labeled because both sides have to clear for the laser to read them. The Amazon item your are asking about (Blu-Ray DL) is one sided. a standard Blu-Ray disc can contain up to 25GB of information, the Dual Layer can hold up to 50GB, but your recorder/player has to be capable of Dual Layer. Almost all are. When burning, make sure you don't have any thing else going on. Buffer Underrun is one of the common problems. With -RWs (rewritables), it's annoying, but with -Rs (recordables) it wastes discs because you can't reuse them. Hope this helped

Answer: These are +RW discs which means that you can record on them multiple times (ex, either six 1 hour shows, or 6 hours of an individual show, then erase what you recorded and record something else on the disc. There is a limit the number of times that you can re-reord on them, but it is a very large number -- I have never had this problem and I record, erase and re-record all the time). You DO need to verify that your dvd recorder is compatible with these discs (some recorders and players use -R discs and these are + R discs).I record TV series on these, and for a show that has 1 hour episodes, I can get 6 episodes on a disc. If I can buy the official series season dvds after the season is over, then once I receive the purchased dvd set, I will "re-initialize" the dvds (wipe it clean, delete its contents) that I used to record the series and start recording some other show all over again. If I am recording a movie that is under 2 hours I record it on the 2 hour option. These options' names vary depending on your recorder. I can record these time-frame settings: 1/2 hour, 1 hour, 2 hour, 4 hour and 6 hours (I have found that sometimes the programs that are recorded using my 1/2 hour settings are too compressed to view properly on some dvd players -- a dvd player function problem, not the discs though). I use these (and only these) dvds all the time and out of the several hundred of these discs that I have already used, I have only had 1 or 2 discs that were bad -- a great quality disc in my opinion. I tried all of the other brands before I found these, and with all of the other brands, it was always hit-or-miss as to whether what I recorded could even be viewed on the recorder that I used to record the disc. I will only buy these Verbatim discs (number 94834). As long as these discs are available, I will continue to record on them -- and will be very happy. If they are ever not available I will have to start my search again to find a good quality RW disc.Good Luck. I suggest you either read your dvr manual or google your make and model dvr to make sure you understand exactly how its different recording modes settings work -- this will help you get very good, almost professional quality recordings using these discs.
