Answer:	It uses a GX-16 connector however you can change it. It is a basic stepper motor.

Answer:	Yes. The Glowforge Plus marks some metals, like anodized aluminum, directly. Other metals, like stainless steel, need to be sprayed with a product like Cermark for better contrast. Unlike many materials, the marking process does not remove metal, so it stays smooth to the touch.
Question:	Does this work offline
Answer:	The software is web based so you'll need an internet connection to start your print. It works well with slow connections, and once your print starts, it can finish offline.
