• Adjust the cutting length and width: When estimating the width of two rear rollers, you also need to make sure there is enough space for the square bottle.
• Adjust the blade: Loosen the up screw with the hex wrench, adjust the blade of the cutting wheel, and then tighten it firmly.

Step 2: Etching the Glass

• Place the bottle on the machine with the vertical flat side of the bottle against the straight edges of the front and back attachments.
• Set the blade forward to keep it in contact with the glass corners.
• Apply pressure as you rotate the bottle toward one direction with two hands.
• Set the blade straight up when you are etching the flat surface.Keep it firmly against the backstop and keep it moving while you're making the etching.

Step 3: Separating the Bottle

People often use one of these two methods to separate the bottle. You can choose one of them.

Method A. The Flame Method

This method is most commonly used. A burning candle and an ice cube are required for this method.

Method B. Use Hot and Cold Water

Using this method, you will need to alternate between "almost boiling water" and "cold tap water."

Step 4: Smoothing the Edge

• Rub the inside and outside edges lightly with a piece of coarse polishing paper.
• Sprinkle a small amount of the polishing powder on a flat, hard surface. You can also use a glass or metal pie plate or a piece of window glass.
• Dip the edge of the glass in water and then place it on the polishing surface. Start to grind in a circular motion. After a short time, the edge of the glass will become perfectly flat and have a dull, gray appearance.
• Again, smooth the inside and outside edges with the polishing paper.

Put the glass bottle on the support, install the fixing baffle and the screw to the suitable position, and align bottle to the cutting knife. Press a little harder while rotating the bottle a few more times, make sure the scoring line is clear and consistent.

Set rubber ring on both sides of the cutting line, keeping 1cm of space between them.

Pour the hot water along the cutting line, then rotate the bottle slowly with 40 seconds, rotating to completely heat the scoreline.

Pour the cold water along the cutting line, while rotating the bottle slowly for 2 complete rotations.

Step5

Finally, Pour boiling water along the cutting line while rotating the bottle slowly for 2 complete rotations.

Loose the bottle with LIGHT force, then it will be separated. The edge of the remaining section of the bottle might be rough and jagged, so use the sandpaper to smooth it out.

Answer:	Yes they are already attached but they are adjustable. My particular kit came with a small screwdriver that was needed to loosen and adjust the support wheel location but only in our out on the same track. Very helpful with different size bottles.

Question:	Hi, Can it cut 3 liter wine bottles
Answer:	The cut is a typical glass cut in that the material is scored by the glass-cutter and then the bottle is shocked by a rapid temp change or a physical shock and the glass cracks along the scored line (hopefully). The "cutline" is a typical glass cut line and may have a sharp edge that should be sanded to reduce the possibility of cuts if the object is handled.
Question:	how does this item compare to the bindu cutter
Answer:	It can be done but so far I have not been impressed with the results. I can do a better job with a homemade jig that fits the bottle i want to cut. The cutter is designed to work with round bottles and while it can be forced to work with some other shapes the results are not worth the effort for me.

Answer:	The one on the rollers is for just straight cuts. The set comes with a hand cutter that you can use for any other cuts both are glass cutters.

Answer:	Hello, thanks for your question! Our product is not advertised especially for square bottles but we can assure you that it gets the job done. You have to make sure you adjust the rollers so the bottle stands still whilst you perform the cut. Otherwise, it might not break clean. But overall, you just need to use the regular method displayed for round bottles.

Answer:	The mats Cricut sells for use with their machines are very essential to the quality of the work and from what I understand need to be kept in the utmost condition. I’m uncertain if this is meant to be used on the mat, but rather just to cut material to size before using your mat to send it through the machine. I’m not 100% certain as the mats seem very durable, I just believe any damage to your mat at all, even minuscule indentations will effect the quality of your project. USE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Adjust the cutting length and width to fit the bottle you want to cut, adjust the blade of the cutting wheel.

2. Put the glass bottle on the support to confirm where you want to cut.

3. Push and rotating the bottle under a balanced force with both of your hands until you get a clear cutting path.

(For square bottle, you need to move it in the horizontal direction)

4. Put 2 rubber ring on both sides of the cutting line on the bottle.

5. Rinse alternately with boiling water and cold water(each time for more than 40 seconds) to the cutting line between 2 rubber rings,

until the bottle separates (If the bottle doesn’t separate,please repeat the 5th step.)

6. Rubbing the cutting surface with sanding paper until you get a smoothy surface.
