My wheel seems to be a bit flaky; I often set the two position switch to the middle (off), then wipe my hands, and push the two position switch to DOWN and the wheel doesn't move until I tweak the rotary knob.

I use this this item professionally, and am very pleased with it. Very minimal care and a periodic light spray of Ballistol (or light oil) with prevent any rust issues you may be concerned about.

How to Control Speed?

Find The Center

Opening

Answer:	I haven't actually used it yet, but when you ask is the "turner" removable, I assume you mean is the wheel head removable? The answer is no, at least not easily removable. BUT the white plastic tray that surrounds the wheel - where the clay/liquid goes while throwing - IS easily removable and is intended to be removed and emptied out and cleaned in a sink or other faucet.

Answer:	I dont think instructions are needed. Small black switch turn it on, pedal/stick controls speed and bigger black switch controls left or right spin.

Answer:	For light work, it’s a good unit. It boys down, so I emphasize keeping the hump very wet. If you bog it down too slow, the power pack will blow the fuse. Yes, you can easily go through amazon and purchase another power pack at a very good price to salvage this wheel. That’s the cheapest alternative to scrapping the wheel altogether. Not hard to rewire if you’re not afraid to do so! I know all this, as I’ve done exactly this, and I’ve learned to use the water. I have thrown up to 10 pounds of clay on this many times. All good, if you keep it wet!
Question:	How do you use without bat/pins/screws? Is the wheel interchangeable
Answer:	Yes it is all in one. The foot petal is where the hand stick is. However, there are no pegs on the table of it to put a bat on it. We got ours last week. Had to modify so that you can use bats. Otherwise you can only do one item a day. Other than that it is a quality unit for the price. We use it to travel and do demonstrations at our space in the Mall.
