The two position switch makes the wheel turn clockwise (UP) or counterclockwise (DOWN). Then, you set the speed by turning the rotary knob (far-left). My wheel seems to be a bit flaky; I often set the two position switch to the middle (off), then wipe my hands, and push the two position switch to DOWN and the wheel doesn't move until I tweak the rotary knob.

Answer:	It is not pretty quiet but it’s not distractingly loud either.Runs smooth sturdy .

Answer:	I have 3. I use them for teaching beginners. We only use a pound to teach. But they have been great for that.

Answer:	I have had 4lbs. on mine but the motor is a bit weak when you try to center the clay it will slow or stop.

Answer:	Maybe 5lbs or less im not sure i ha emt tried it.

Answer:	No it is not. It is connected, but I think its easy to clean so far... I havemt worked on it much! But it definitely is shorter than a normal one. I have it sitting on bricks to bring ir to my height!

ABS Removable Splash Pans

How to Control Speed?

Hand push control: Push the joystick to the right to increase speed, to left to decrease speed. Pedal control: It ’s like stepping on the gas pedal of a car. The deeper you step, the faster it is.

Reverse Switch

"FOR", "REV", control the rotation direction of the wheelhead.

Find The Center

Turn on the machine, adjust the speed to 120-150 rpm, put your elbows on the legs about 5 cm above the knee, and knead the mud with both hands repeatedly. Its purpose is to adjust the degree of softness and hardness of the mud and prevent the problem of difficulty in forming due to uneven dryness and wetness of the mud during the drawing process.

Opening

When the mud finds the center on the machine, you can use the thumb of your left hand (depending on your personal habits, left and right hands can be used), tilt down at a 45° angle to buckle inward, and then it will appear Embryonic form

Note that when opening, you must feel the thickness of the bottom of the blank. It is recommended that beginners leave about two centimeters. It is not recommended to be too thin, which is easy to deform or wear the bottom.

Pulling Up
