Using a single strand (doubled) the wire fit easily and crimped well. I think you might have trouble using more than one strand in this size with the size wire I was using. I think the twists made the crimping hold better.Hope this helps. |

Their main purpose is to straighten curved wire, straighten kinks or if making spirals you can grip tightly and make the curvature without tool marks. Also pulling the wire through the plastic jaws will worked harden your wire when you need a stiffer wire. The plastic on the end is squared and the plastic is soft so I don’t know how you’d make rings. |
