Answer:	Yes you can open and close jump rings with the pliers. You can reshape some jump rings with the round nose pliers also.

Answer:	The handles fit perfectly in my hands...so I would say like 3 inches. They work, but I had to get a bigger pair for squeezing the rings back shut, the on in this set just doesn't work FOR ME. If you have small hands, they might work better for you, but if you have large hands I would suggest a larger set.

Question:	Would these work for lefties
Answer:	These pliers would work just as well for lefties as right handed people. I would not recommend the cutters, there are better cutters out there. I do love the ergonomic handles, use the round nose pliers a lot and it's nice to have the bead/wire measuring tool plus the bead reamer, which I use a lot. I prefer other cutters myself but this is a great basic tool kit, especially for beginners.
Question:	How large are the tools? (How Long)Where are they made
Answer:	I really like parts of these tools ~ the cutters are not that great, would buy plato cutters from Wire-Scupture.com instead. The handles are wonderful, about 5 inches long, great for larger hands although a student of my jewelry classes said they feel good and she has smaller hands, very ergonimically comfortable. Like that there is a bead measuring tool and a bead reamer (use in the same direction such as clockwise, never turn back and forth or it will dull your reamer, and don't push too hard or you can break the bead you are enlarging the hole in), and the round thing is for doing lots of jump rings like chain maille. The chain nose pliers that I got had a rough spot (and you do NOT want rough spots inside that will mark your wire) but I just filed it down smooth. They are made by Cousin Company, probably in China. Most places sell this kit for $24.99. Great for beginners. Actually like the round nose pliers and chain nose pliers a lot.

Answer:	I think this kit is good for jewelry making “practice”. But when you start it, You need another tools immediately. Like Nylon Jaw Jewelry Pliers, looping pliers, bead mat... this wire cut pliers isn’t good quality( couldn’t cut gold filled chains) so I bought new Wire Flush Cutters next day. Over all, it’s good for practice. All tools quality aren’t so good.
