Answer:	This pipe is very tight in my space. I measured the distance and it was almost too close. There is no adjusting this vent to go smaller than 5".. It may not be what you are looking for. Sorry..hope you find the right one soon.

Answer:	This thing should work. It is not a plug-n-play solution, however. You will need foil tape, and tin snips to adjust the thing to the right size. Also, you will need to somehow get behind there to put the large hose-clamps in place and tighten them. It took me about 45min to get it set up, but since then it has been great. There is less resistance that my old flexible hose so the clothes dry much faster. I'd make sure that the periscope has the right opening dimensions so that it will match with your wall vent and the port on the back of the dryer. The 4" and a bit to the side should not be an issue. Good luck! BTW, you many want to wear some type of gloves so you don't cut yourself on the metal when you install it. ;)

Answer:	Some vendors request that you send them back the old board in the provided envelope or box. They supposedly recycle them or sometimes there is nothing wrong with the board and return it to service. I send mine back to them....toast, crispy and blackened. Recycling it was the only thing to do with it. If they didn't provided you with an envelope, then take it to Goodwill or an Electronics store that they can recycle it.
