I recommend you go to YouTube and search for garbage disposal installation....better yet, put the manufacturer of your disposal and look for clips that show installation of YOUR brand of disposal. | Answer: | No I ordered this part and they changed the delivery date twice and then I still never received the part. I was later told by the dishwasher manufacturer (Asko) that they want dual dishwashers hooked up in two sepereate locations. This will prevent one dishwasher from draining into the other one. Their service techs will blame this part for issues and they will tell you to hook it up differently. If you have a dual bowl sink you can hook one line to the garbage disposal and then on the second bowl side use a dishwasher branch tailpiece pipe. That part is 4$ and readily available at Home Depot. You can also use the dishwasher branch tailpiece in another location on the drain pipe as long as it is running the right direction as to not let any water flow back into the dishwasher line. You will also want to make sure the dishwashers are using their built in loop and not being looped underneath the sink. I had a long process in dealing with the company that installed the dishwasher and then later the certified tech for Asko. |
