Answer: I replaced my pump because it had a horrible whine high-pitched sound. If the pump is really loud go ahead and replace it it’s going out. If the pump is more than a few years old it’s not a bad idea to replace it too it got pretty gunked up with a lot of junk. Sorry I don’t know the ohms but I think you’re overthinking it if the pump works fine leave it alone if it’s super noisy and making a whining sound replace it. If it doesn’t work at all replace it
