Answer:	You can take the clips off but they leave a small cut in the insulation of the wire but the pigtail wire can be easily removed and replaced

Answer:	Why would you use these on landscape wiring?? They are not good to use in wet locations. You can either strip the wire back a little fi=urther so the insulation stops at the connector, or you can slightly shave down the insulation to make it thinner so it slides partially into the end of the connector.
Question:	I see some say these are fuse holders. What is it, fuse holder or wire connectors

How to use: 

1.Strip the two wires that going to connect and select the right size of connector.

Answer:	I don’t know the exact rating but it is made for low-voltage like 12 V or 24 V connections. Not 120 V use.

Question:	Why cannot we get a mutikit with bloody 8 awg butt solder joins? why such an issue
Answer:	I would guess that they do not have enough solder, in the joiner, to be effective. Or there is not much call for that gauge wire, they can not be all things to all people. For that, strip the wires, place some shrink tubing on one of the wires, solder, let it cool, slide the shrink tube over, shrink it. Some times, when there is sufficient wire length, I place two different size shrink tube,. shrinking the smaller one first, letting it cool. The slide the larger one over the other.

Answer:	Depends more on the wire size, but I would think less than the wire itself unless you mechanically twist the joint, too. Solder as the primary conductor in the joint isn't the best if the joint is likely to get heated by the current.

Question:	Do these have the adhesive inside as well
Answer:	Wow, so many clueless reviews. Heat shrink can and does contain heat activated adhesive sealant. It does not affect the connection at all, only seals to prevent water intrusion on marine applications such as wiring a bilge pump. I do not know if these have it but you will see a small amount ooze out if it does.
Question:	what temperature is needed to shrink these? Will a hair blow dryer work or is heat gun needed
Answer:	Hair dryer, heat gun, lighter, mini torch all work.
Question:	Are you certified to use them at 120/127 volts
Answer:	Wire size and material determine maximum current and loss due to heat (ignore above comment). Insulation determines maximum voltage. 120 volts is American household voltage. These are designed for marine and automotive applications which are typically 12 volts, sometimes 24 volts, and rarely 48 volts or other voltage. I would verify with manufacturer what the maximum voltage the insulation can take is. I repeat, these are not designed for household use, and I have never heard of those voltages in a marine or automotive application.
Question:	What crimp tool is needed to crimp these
Answer:	Make sure to use a crimped for coated connectors. If you puncture the coating they will no longer be waterproof. If that doesn't matter the regular butt connectors are way cheaper. Use these for wet applications and marine for sure.
