They DEFINITELY cut down on the over ring without having to tune them higher than the batter head. Give them a try, I use them with Coated Aquarian Performance 2's and LOVE them. Best of luck! |

I used the G1s as reso heads when I originally went with black chrome on the batter side and the g1s didn't provide much control so I would think the G2s on top with the EC on the bottom would provide the same kind of results I am getting with BC on top and EC on the bottom. |

| Answer: | I think so. I have tried several different batter and resonant Evans heads on my bass drum. I like this Onxy Resonant the best. For the batter side I've actually switched from EQ2 (22" BD) to Onyx EMAD for 22" batter. Sounds fatter, rounder and louder. |

| Answer: | This is just the resonant drum head, one of the "skins" that is placed on the drum. It is a good quality drum head and I would recommend it, but in order to have a complete kick drum (as shown in the picture) you would also need the shell, batter head, and pedal. |

Nevertheless get a tape measure, place the end part or the beginning of the tape where it says zero inches and place that on the drum head only for accurate measurements. If I haven't explained this correctly, go to Google and type in how to measure dimensions of a drum head. P.S. I hope this info helps. |
