Answer:	I also have the Energizer charging station and this cable. From my experience, the cable doesn't charge the controller w/battery. I have used a dead controller/battery while connected with this cable and when you take the cable out of the controller, within a few minutes or seconds it dies. So you would have to stay wired to play. Best thing to do is to have 2 controllers and always have 1 charging.
