If you have your PS4 in "Rest" mode, it will continue to charge the plugged in controller, and you will even see that the blue power light and fans continue to stay on. At some point, the PS4 determines that its done charging, and stops powering the USB port. This only happens however when you put the PS4 in Rest mode while the device is plugged in (and possibly a controller), I haven't had much time to test it out yet.

The only thing I have noticed with the move controllers is that when you charge them from the wall you see the red light turn on where on the base I don’t see them turn on. But for me the base charges everything just fine. Fan has some noise so it’s not completely quiet. Since it shows the PS4 Pro you should be fine. I was mainly concerned about the processing box not fitting since the updated PSVR made it bigger but it fits fine.

Question:	Can this be used for the original PS4 Model
Answer:	The PS4 has two options when shutting down; rest mode and power off. In power off mode; no, the controllers will not charge. In rest mode; the controllers will charge, but the time period depends on how you have rest mode power saving options (USB ports) configured. The three options are leave the USB ports on indefinitely, for 3 hours, or do not leave them on at all.
Question:	Will this stand hold the PS4 Pro on either of its two sides OR can it only be attached to what appears to be the disc drive on top
Answer:	Yes it not the official PS4 Pro stand. However I was able to locate an authentic PS4 Pro stand on an different vendor's site.
Question:	do the controllers charge if the ps4 is off
Answer:	The original PS move controllers (PS3 era) used "USB Mini" ports, the new controllers for the PSVR use "USB Micro". This stand has the new "USB Micro" for the updated controllers that came out with the PSVR
Question:	First and last photo show this to be form fitting to the ps4 pro but the others show it as more of a generic rectangular stand. Which is correct
Answer:	It holds all PS 4 gaming systems. It works but just remember the picture you are seeing doesn't include any wires. It works and keeps everything together but it is also very tall. Anything else you have a question with and I'm around I'll answer. Happy Thanksgiving

Answer:	I've got a Slim and A Vertical stand just like this, Same rubber bottoms almost the same stand with fans except it only has 2 USB ports. Its very sturdy. I dont have a cat I have a 70 pound Pit Bull,lol.. I've had mine about 6 months, and 1 of the fans is making a loud noise, Which it started a month or so ago, I took it aprt and put a drop of Hair trimmer oil on it and it did help for a while but Its time to just get a new one. I paid $22 for mine, This stand is for sure worth it. I game several hours at a time and like another person said I can walk up pick my PS4 up and the whole stand comes with it. If you have not notice if you buy this,and their headset they make, you get a 20% discount, Both ending up only I think it said $34. Your cat would have to really hit it hard to knock it over. This is the one I'm about to buy along with the headset deal. I have the Sony PlayStation Gold wireless headset and its got great sound but needs charging to often. I hate the the PS4 Companion app only works with Sony PS Headsets, It is for sure a great headset if it did not need charging as much as the controllers. lol, IMO It looks good to me. Plus you get 4 set of controller Nobs.
