Answer:	If the controllers are above a certain charge, the dock stops charging them. You can tell when this is the case because the light on the front changes from red to blue. I’ve been using the charger for about 8 months now and I’d recommend it.

If you did the same, there shouldn't be any issue, so if that isnt the problem then it might be an internal damage issue or an exterior one to the ports for the USB or charging ports.
