Answer:	it does stay on by itself but may get a bit loose but as long as you leave it be, it will not fall off or disconect on its own, its pretty straight foward and helps alot with charging things as long as your concious of it coming loose if you tugg on the cables you connect to it... honestly its not as bad as some reviews might indicate but you can just put a thin, double sided piece of that foam 3mm tape on the flat backside and it shouldnt be much of a hassle.. now if you have kids or play with a usb cable charging your controller then youll more than likely have it come loose every once in a while. Personally I love it and since I have a ps4pro intercooler that needs a usb port to power it and A PSVR then all the controller cables i needed to charge everything at night was becoming a hassle to have to pick and chose with only two usb ports, but like i said its good as long as you either dont mess with it too badly or just use a little bit of tape and common sense. good luck.
