Answer:	The wheel also is a middle mouse click, but this function does not yet work with macOS Sierra 10.12.3. I was told Logitech is working on a fix.

Answer:	We DO have PROBLEMS with this mouse. We have 2x in our household and in the 2 years of ownership we already had 3x Warranty Exchanges with the manufacturer. The longest lasting one was running for about 9 month. After that time the defective mouse fails to connect. NOTE: 1) we have identical laptops and identical mouses. 2) the bad mouse can't connect to either laptop while the good mouse can connect to both laptops. 3) THE MOUSE IS DEFECTIVE, the issue can not be blamed on user error.

Answer:	I have an earlier, non-programmable version which I purchased from Amazon in 2003 and it still works like new. I am actually right-handed, but I have always used it with my left hand because that placement is perferable to me. I have used it on both mac and linux operating systems. Answer:	In addition to the Setpoint software made by Logitech, I also installed a small program called "MarbleScroll". However, note that there doesn't seem to be an option to have it stay on after restarting your pc, but you can set it up to be part of your pc's startup routine. Easy to Google and do it yourself. Answer:	It appears that there is a hard mouse pad (G440) that allows the mouse to glide more easily. Using a smoother material, it creates less friction.
