| Answer: | The headphones are great to start, but they’re made out of really cheap external components. I’m a middle aged adult who plays 4-5 hours a week and keeps meticulous care of my headphones. Within 9 months of purchase the plastic started cracking and eventually split. The headphones are now being held together by superglue and zip ties. They aren’t even a year old as of today. It’s unacceptable to have headphones >$100 and have them fail with a year. A good example of balance is I have a pair of Bose QC25. I wear those almost daily when I travel. I’ve had to repair the ear foam a few times, but 4 years on having worn them hundreds of hours on multiple international flights and they are still holding together well. I wish they made gaming headphones. |

| Answer: | 11-29-2020 - I just received my new xbox wireless adapter for windows 10 specifically so I could connect this turtle beach 600 wireless headset to my pc - it does not connect to the xbox wireless adapter - just sits in endless pairing mode. I have been all over online including Turtle Beach and Microsoft looking for resolution. Turtle beach shows outdated info for older xbox adapter (although it is probably the same except placement of the button) and it does not work according to their instructions. Microsoft only shows info for connecting to one of their controllers - no help with wireless headsets. So if you are buying this with the expectation that it will connect to your windows 10 pc via the xbox wireless adapter for windows 10 then also expect you will be returning them both in utter disappointment. A bonus FYI: the xbox one controller will connect to a windows 10 pc via bluetooth if your pc has it so you don't need the xbox wireless adapter for that. |

We ordered the replacement cord listed for the Atlas with the same volume control and mic mute switch directly from Turtle Beach's website for 9.95 US I believe plus a few bucks shipping. The Atlas appears to use the same 3 ring / 5 ring 3.5mm plug ends as the Elite Pro so you might be able to use an Elite Pro cable if one is available that is longer or such. Turtle Beach should be able to confirm if this is true. |

| Answer: | Yes, you can listen to game and TV at same time, when the tv is "snapped", and you can also listed to your xbox live party at the same time. One word of caution: the controller currently converts game audio to stereo (NOT surround sound). There may be a patch to fix this in the future, but who knows.There are 2 icons on the left of the adapter...the top is the controller icon that controls the game volume, the bottom is a person icon that controls the chat party volume. If you hold the chat icon for a couple seconds, it will mute the game volume; if you just tap one or the other, you can volume up or down the selected line. |

| Answer: | ALL headsets of any brand will allow you to hear your voice over the headset if you have a XBOX ONE controller that has the 3.5mm outlet port as long as the headset has the combined mic/headset plug to plug it in. This feature was added to all of these XBOX One controllers and once you plug the headset into the controller(should use wired USB cable or rechargeable kit from Xbox because using the headset feature will use up the controller's batteries)- many find it best to use a longer micro usb cable because you can forget about batteries just take out the ones in the controller. By plugging into one of the XBOX ONE usb ports you turn off wireless and make it a powered wired adapter which requires no batteries. |
