Answer:	I believe that this is a place holder. When I pre-ordered it before it said 3/3. The release date on other sites have it listed as 3/3 as well.

Answer:	As a first time user, I would say yes. This is a useful product to consider. For me, I prefer docking my switch and playing from the tv, via HDMI cord. So my Nintendo Switch was getting charged but the joy-cons were not. So thats why I considered getting the charging dock. Plus, I can alternate between joy-cons to prolong usage of all my products.
