Answer:	I don't understand what you mean by cartridge. You have to be more specific.

Answer:	From the factory most of the fittings need to be readjusted. The fittings are just put in so that they do not get lost in the box or possibly thrown out. I also had to use an extra compression gasket to make sure that I could tighten the not tight enough so I did not get a noticeable wobble. The height of the main faucet will have a small wobble but not really noticeable much if you use an extra get compression gasket and tighten it good. It is important to use plumbers tape when you put the extension into the base. Hope that helps.

Answer:	It’s not plastic, not sure what metal it is (brass or steel) but it seems to be polished steel not just chrome finish, I’ve had it for a few months and it hasn’t and doesn’t look like it will peel off like the finish in my previous one which was chrome finish on plastic and started peeling off. This one is very much worth the money. It doesn’t have a way to close the flow of water like others do, but that wasn’t important to me...
