The first is that the AZ1000W has the DuoClean® Technology. This features a bristle brush to deep clean carpets and an additional soft brushroll to pull in larger particles and directly engage floors for a polished look. The other difference is that the AZ1000W is a Powered Lift-Away®. This allows you to remove the canister and still have power to the floor nozzle. Question:	Does the fact that this has anti hair wrap still mean it sweeps just as well as regular kinds? The brush looks very different
Answer:	Perhaps you will need to hear from someone who has had their vacuum longer, but I was amazed at the amount of dust and cat hair this vacuum picks up, both on hard floors and on carpets, which are different settings. On hard floors you can see the suction as the hair and dust move away from the wall into the vacuum. My old vacuum didn't do that. Vacuuming carpets stands the fibers up, and the carpet looks not only cleaner but newer. As advertised, the anti-hair wrap works, with a clean brush when I finish. Great performance so far.
Question:	Does this have a brush roll on and off switch
Answer:	There is a switch to go from hard floors to carpet, but the brush roll still spins- at two different speeds. Slower for hard floors. I do not see a way to turn off the brush roll.

Answer:	It depends on how low the battery got. These are great and convenient but the battery life when used is not terribly long. So could be 2-3 hours maybe. I know I’ve had mine plugged in like that for an hour or so and been surprised the light was still flashing.

Answer:	I have 2 dogs and one sheds bad. The Green works great. I do use the pet brushes and regular pet (non bissell brand) cleaner in the tank. Works like a charm. I love skipping the vacuum step. Side note: I use these weekly. There would be to much hair to use any less often.
Question:	Is this a regular vacuum too
Answer:	I don’t agree with many of these answers. I watched a review by someone had contacted Bissell and they had basically said you can’t use it on a regular carpet in the wet mode — it’s not a carpet shampooer. I use this in my regular carpet, dry and on carpet mode. For the low pike entry rug I can still use the carpet mode wet. It’s done a fine job on the wall to wall carpet in my bedroom. Also, when it comes to the mopping, make sure you read their suggestions. I feel that I’ve managed to avoid some of the complaints that I didn’t read till after purchase (and which made me nervous) — admittedly I don’t usually read any of the print materials with products I buy, but now I have a new respect for them.

Answer:	I didn't weigh it, but I don't find it to be too heavy. I can vacuum my entire main level without too much arm, wrist or hand fatigue. Hope that helps.
Question:	can I use my handheld motorized brush from canister vacuum on this vacuum
Answer:	No, The connectors are different and wouldn't fit. It's made this way on purpose as such big motorized brush would overload the battery. If you need a version that goes with this vacuum also check out the Miele Triflex HX1 Cat&Dog or if you already own this vacuum you can buy this brush separately ''Miele SEB 23''
Question:	How much running time all together with extra batteries
Answer:	120 min run time with both batteries.
Question:	How height is the electrobrush head? We are concerned that it will fit under our furniture/edgings
Answer:	its about 2 1/4" inches
Question:	How often should you change the bags and how often for the filters
Answer:	Bags should be changed when the bag change indicator "shows" or whenever you notice a loss of suction. Air clean filters should be changed every time you open a box of new filters, or once a year for HEPA type.
Question:	Is the Miele U vacuum bag 100percent free of fiberglass material
Answer:	We do not use fiberglass in our dustbags.
Question:	Do the "U" bags fit all models? I have the Miele Jazz
Answer:	That would be the same U bag as my model Miele S 7580, the Miele Jazz uses the 5.45 quart, Type U, AirClean dustbag according to the mieleusa.com website
Question:	Why is this product described as AirClean but the picture shows the HyClean bags instead? Which bags are these
Answer:	When I ordered them in Jan., the ad was as it is now: the picture was of the HyClean bags, but the order was for AirClean. If you have an concerns, perhaps you could call the dealer. Go with the text rather than the picture.

Answer:	Ok, so this was bugging me also on what the difference between the models is, So I called Bissell and they informed me that there is no difference the last # added to the model is added for different stores carrying the product. However the features on each of these models is identical. Hope that helps ;)

Answer:	I have three of them, older model bottom tank not translucent. I estimate about threes years with not very much use but when I use it, I use it hard. Great when it was new. Now very loud and don't have much suction, almost useless. Very well constructed though, solid motor and impeller but impossible to change the motor brushes without ripping it out from the holder - maybe need special tool, didn't have to be that way. Filters are the weak link, need to be cleaned constantly even before the tank is filled to one inch. I think the dusts got into the motor/impeller and eat up the bearings.
