Answer:	No, it doesn't raise up. It is difficult to push on grass.

Answer:	Zip tie the forks on and use adhesive Velcro to stick the bucket to them. It's not a perfect solution, and if your kid is like my grandson they might argue for a while, but it works and they'll adjust their play to the solution.

Answer:	It depends on what he likes to play with. They look just like the picture. I bought them for my 3 year old Grandson. He plays with them on and off. I honestly cannot remember what 7 year olds like to play with.
