Answer:	It's not bouncy like the old school wonder horse. I think it's stiff, because I am used to the type that they can really bounce on compared to this, which is more of a rocking type. My son still really loves it, but I was disappointed because I think he would have liked the old style better. I do like that the springs have a sleeve over them, as when I was a child I often pinched my fingers and arms on the springs of my wonder horse.

Answer:	Yes, but not to leave out in the rain. It has electronics in the nose that make the running hoof sounds and the whinnying sounds, so that wouldn't be good in rain either. The 4 large springs are covered with heavy cloth but it isn't really weatherproof. The cloth protects little fingers from getting pinched.

Answer:	Our 16yo niece was bouncing on it really hard and nothing bad happand. I weight 190 pounds and was siting on it with all my weight (without bouncing) and it held me pretty easily.

Answer:	I am not sure what other rider you are looking at but this one is excellent. It grows with the child from a horse with a child safety seat for a 6-9 mo. old baby, to a toddler size for a 1-2 yr. old without the seat and then the frame is turned over to raise the horse higher yet for a 2yr. old to maybe a 4yr. old and other horses do not grow with the child and can be raised in height as well as this one can, some only grow a little, this one grows for a 6mo. to about a 4 yr. old child.....my granddaughter has had this one for 2 yrs now and loves it. It also plays music and "neighs" when you squeeze the ears.
