Answer:	this is because the battery is most likely fully charged by the chargers standard. we bought our charger to charge 2 different power wheel batteries and we come to find out that even though the green light showed on the charger when both of them were plugged in turns out that one of the batteries was no good it was damaged possibly by water. but also there is a way you can replace the fuse on the battery to try and fix the issue. each battery comes with two replacement fuses on the top of them on the inside of the harness that surrounds the battery. our harness is black and our battery is blue it is the main type of power wheel battery that comes factory with the power wheels. i hope this helps and if not then you might be in the same situation as us. one of our batteries worked one didnt. amazon has a power wheel battery for a descent price and in not sure if it is sold with a new charger but in sure you can find out by searching it.
