However, balance bikes in general typically have adjustable seats, lightweight frames, and no pedals, allowing kids to focus on learning to balance and steer.

If you're interested in the Yamaha balance bike, I'd recommend checking out Yamaha's official website or contacting authorized dealers for detailed information on features, specifications, and availability. Happy biking adventures for your little one!

User questions & answers

Question: whats the difference ST
Answer: Radio flyer makes two versions of this balance bike, one with air tires and one with foam tires. This is the listing for the one with air tires. However Amazon sent me the wrong one the first time. In my opinion the air tires are much nicer - they give more traction and a smother ride, especially if it will be used on uneven road. The foam tires and okay because they don't need upkeep but they are slippy (definitely not good for indoor use) and get rocks and things embedded in them easily.
Question: How much does it weigh? What age group is it geared for
Answer: I suppose it could, but the way the seat is facing makes it more like an easy 180 degree - I cannot remember if the seat easily swivels to make it around 360. Either way, my son & his friends are still obsessed with this toy. One of our best purchases!
Question: Is the Sport worth the $20 upgrade over the Classic version? Is this bike good for a child 36 inches tall
Answer: The seat does not turn but the digger itself turns 180o ,dumps sand and snow....my little buddy loves it !!!
Question: What is the actual height from ground to seat top? it says 18m-5y but it would be more helpful to just know the lowest seat height!\
Answer: 350 lbs? Ya, this should work out great for him. Big plus is it will most likely become permanently imbedded in him for fun anytime, anyplace.

How to Measure Your Child's Stand-Over Height

  • What size bike should I get my child? Easy, the best size bike for your kiddo is the bike that fits them from day one. The best way to do that is measure their inseam.
  • Yeah, but what about their age? Age is more like... an approximate fit. Inseam is an exact fit, trust us.
  • Okay, got it. What's an inseam? Good question. Inseam is the distance between the ground and crotch.
  • So, why is this inseam babble so important? We're all different heights and shapes, even when we're the same age. This is especially true with kids because they grow like crazy. By measuring inseam, you're making sure that your child's bike has the perfect fit.
  • Right, how exactly do I measure this? Have your child stand up really straight with with their shoes on and back to a wall. Place a book between their legs and slide it up the wall to meet the crotch seam of their pants, just like they were sitting on a bike saddle. Measure from the top of the book to the floor and.... Bingo ! You have your inseam.

User questions & answers

Question: Dimensions of bike? Will it fit in a large suitcase
Answer: No, would be much too small for anything plus sized
Question: What is the seat height
Answer: I found a cheap and beautiful jewelry website I have bought 13, the quality is good, and the logistics is very fast! The price is very cheap.
Question: My 3 year old is on the shorter side, HIs inseam is about 10 inches. Would this bike be too big for him
Answer: Well....Since the bracelets in general have securely beaded ends, I would recommend not cutting the excess. Besides it takes away from the pleasing look of the item. I might suggest if you do wear yours ALL THE TIME as I have done mine ( they last about a year before the cord begins to break down and just replace with new bracelet) you may be able to use some fabric bonding glue and make certain you have placement ideal...Then take the two strings coming from the medallion towards the cords open slightly and place that fabric glue on top and bottom....then take that extra peice with the bead at the end and lay it in the middle so it appears there are three cords stacked. That's as crafty I can come up with and not ruin the bracelet entirely or make it look junky. Good luck ❤️
Question: Why is the foot rest curved compared to other bikes
Answer: Yes it can also be worn as an anklet, there is enough string to do that.

Less Risk of Injury

Unlike learning to ride a bike with training wheels, kids learn to balance first. This greatly reduces the risk of injury as they can safely plant their feet anytime they feel unbalanced. Kids who learn with training wheels often experience anxiety and several crashes and as they try to stay upright once the training wheels are gone. You probably have some painful memories of this yourself, right?

Build Confidence

Balance bikes are simple to use. Your toddler will quickly grasp the concept of walking with the bike between their legs, and immediately feel a sense of accomplishment. Progress comes quickly as they lengthen their steps and increase their speed. Meanwhile you can feel confident that they have the right bike to keep them safe and steady.

Learn Faster

Because kids can start on a balance bike years before a traditional pedal bike, they can master their balance by the time they are 3 or 4 years old, often when other parents are starting their kids on training wheels. Even if your child is a little older, you'll be surprised how quickly they pick it up. We've seen children 5 years old with no experience learn to balance in a single summer.

Cost Effective Fun

Unlike last year's expensive Christmas toys, your Bixe balance bike will still be loved years after it's first use. And once your child outgrows it, you can hand it down to your next child or sell it in your upcoming garage sale. And as an added bonus, you're giving your child the chance to learn a life skill. Smart move mom and dad.

A Balance Bike For Every Age

We build balance bikes to fit kids from 18 months all the way up to 9 years of age. See below for a quick comparison between our two most popular sizes to learn which bike will best fit your child.

User questions & answers

Question: What is seat material
Answer: 3.3Kg which is about 7.3Lbs. It is lightweight, easy for a 2 year old to handle.
Question: Can I order a replacement screw to hold the seat on the bike
Answer: They're rubber tires with an innertube, like a bicycle. I bought my trike in 2008 for my daughter and my third child is now riding it. The tires are still good, and I bought my first replacement innertube for it about a week ago.
Question: Does this bike have rubber wheels or plastic wheels
Answer: no push bar. But the inflated tires and adjustable seat make it a bit easier for the child to learn to pedal for him(her)self. My two year old grandson loved his and was able to pedal by himself fairly quickly.
Question: Where can I get a replacement front wheel? The bearings feel out of the one we currently have
Answer: I used to live on a gravel road, so I understand. It should work ok, but not great. I don't think you'll find anything out there that will work better though. It definitely will be better than one of the tricycles with plastic tires!

User questions & answers

Question: What size are the 12" tires? The specification of size on the tire? Width and height dimensions please if someone knows
Answer: Yes, the tires will hold up because they are plastic. The intent of the bike is to help little ones get used to riding on two wheels and to develop their balance, steering, and coordination. For this to work they need to be able to push off and glide on the bike, which can't be done on a rock driveway. In order for this to be effective, you'll need to find a smooth surface.
Question: What age is a 12 inch for?Is there any bigger bikes like this for a 8 year old
Answer: Our foam balance bike tires are now 4 years old. Been through two toddlers. Wears just fine, and we live in FL where riding bikes is all year long!
Question: How old can ride this bike
Answer: 17 1/2"
Question: My son is 43inch tall. Should I get the 12” or
Answer: I took a tape measure to it and it was about 12.5 inches from the ground to the lowest point on the seat. i purchased it hoping my 21 month old (who is on the small side) would be tall enough, but he has a few inches to go before he will fit on it with his feet comfortably on the ground.

User questions & answers

Question: What is the size of the bore holes for the tires? This would also be the size of the wrench needed to undo the nut
Answer: 12 1/2 X 2 1/4
Question: What is the max height for child riding this
Answer: This bike is for a 3-4 year old . But if your toddler is y’all advice not to get it you can’t adjust the seat .
Question: whats the max weight it can hold
Answer: I think it's better to go off of the child's height because the seat doesn't adjust. My 3 year old is 40inches tall. It fits her ok. But if you have a really tall kid... Maybe over 45 inches I think their knees might hit the steering bar.
Question: Why do all of the pictures of the tires show air valves if the tires are airless
Answer: I would get the 16. My grandson is about that tall and the 12 is too small.

Bringing Happy Riding

With no pedals or gears, we made the JOYSTAR to help your little rider find their balance by making it as easy as possible to put their feet down. In fact, scooting around with their feet is how the bike moves (outside of gravity), so they'll get used to the feeling of riding without much of the risk. And with a redesigned frame, the new features a lower standover height to accommodate little riders, as well as a longer wheelbase for more stable scooting.

  • THE HOTTEST BALANCE BIKE! JUST LIKE A BIG KIDS BIKE! Do you remember your first toddler bike? It needed to be light enough to drag, but strong enough for those moments of frustration when you threw it to the ground! It had to be safe, but of course, look cool too! So naturally we packed all that into the GOMO, so your kids can fondly remember their first bike too!
  • SAFETY FIRST: The GOMO kids bicycle has a turn limiter for greater control while they master the skill of steering. The custom footrest lets them place their feet safely as they go fast for their very first time. Through-wheel axles stop wheels from falling off while the padded seat lets kids hit their first tiny “all terrain bumps” without jarring.
  • STURDY ENOUGH TO GROW WITH THEM! To ride like the big kids’, there’ll be a few spills along the way. So we gave the GOMO push bike a steel frame that’s as light as it is tough. It’s the first bike that grows with kids and their confidence! The adjustable seat allows for a ride height 12” – 17.5” and grows from 18 months to 5 years; and up to 60lbs.
  • LIGHTWEIGHT: GOMO means “Get Out More Often”, so we’ve made this boys and girls bike 7.1 pounds - light enough to do exactly that! Toddlers can lift and drag it, just as easily as they can scoot along. The 14.6” T-bar with its special GOMO grips are easy for little hands to grab while the 12” heavy-duty foam wheels, can be dragged over gravel without punctures.
  • 2-YEAR WARRANTY: Packed with safety features, the GOMO is kitted out with safe ABS plastic finishes for less scrapes to the bike… and your kids! Available in four different 2-tone color combos, choose the one they think is the coolest! The GOMO also comes with a complete 2-year manufacturing warranty.

User questions & answers

Question: where is this bicycle made
Answer: Dear Sir, the bolts for the tires can be undone by a M15 wrench, and actually the wrench is attached in the package. So you don't need to worry about that. You can also reach us at mail: [email protected]
Question: Do you have balancing bikes for older kids, ages
Answer: The seat is adjustable and I would say kids could ride it for a quite a while. My taller than average 3 year old had the seat really low still.
Question: Kid is gonna be 6 but still doesn’t have balance. Is this age okay for this balance bike
Answer: There is no maximum weight given; only maximum height.
Question: Have you addressed the 1 star complaints about the plastic clamp breaking
Answer: The air valve is fake. The bike comes with airless tire made of EVA ploymer.
