Answer:	About 2.5 to 3 inches. My son also used fireman Sam people with it. They are alittle smaller.

Question:	I noticed in a review in 2011 - the firefighter's jackets are now molded onto the figure; the figures aren't the same design as what's shown
Answer:	The two firefighters that come with this set are creepy looking and too large for most of the furniture. They are slightly bendable, but my kids didn't like them or play with them. Their jackets and hats do not come off. We use Playmobil characters (and trucks) and Fireman Sam figurines. Just FYI, the best prices of the year on this fire station are in early November before black Friday. I got mine the week before Thanksgiving for $69.99 on Amazon. After that the price went back up to $129. So if you can wait to purchase I highly recommend it.
Question:	Has anyone used the Transformers Rescue Bots vehicle and characters with this? If so, how did they work with it
Answer:	that's funny you asked that. :) my son is obsessed with rescue bots and fire trucks....we use the bots in the station. the smaller plastic non-changing ones hang out the rooms and the transforming bots in the vehicle depots and top area. pretty much all on my sons matchbox cars, rescue bots, batman/superhero friends hang out in this thing. he loves it...we bought it for him last christmas, and he still uses it daily. he is a little over 3.5 YO now.

Question:	How complicated is to assembled the playground
Answer:	The hardest part was the twisty slide, it took them most of the afternoon to get it together. Might need to get some longer bolts, though the ones that came with it were OK, and patience. After it was completed, it looked great and our twin grandsons loved it. The rest of the playset was very straight forward. Make sure you read the directions first.
