Answer:	No, it doesn't make any sounds, but it does have some neat features - like the trunk opens (so you can store accessories there), some of the sandwich parts move (i.e. the lettuce spins around when the car rolls), and the spatula is actually a catapult that can fling small projectiles - the set comes with disc-like Krabby Patties that are meant for exactly this purpose. Plus it's a good size - larger than a lot of other Imaginext accessory/vehicle packs out there that are in the $9.99-14.99 category. Overall, the kids love it for 2 main reasons: 1.) It's unique and has a lot going on and keeps them engaged, and 2.) The vehicle is a famous and popular icon, based on the car that's used by Spongebob and Patrick (in the very first Spongebob Movie), when they're forced to embark on a quest to find King Neptune's Crown. The movie has become a classic, and for most kids, it still holds the title of all-time favorite Spongebob movie. This is one of the only toys from that earlier era of S.B. that's still sold today, so it makes a great addition to their Spongebob and Imaginext collection! I got this on sale for $7 as a black friday/cyber Monday deal, but it'd be well worth the money even if priced at a full retail of $10-14 :)
