Answer:	I wouldn’t consider them “soft and warm” more like sport sock material.

Answer:	I like everything about these socks....and my twin grandsons loved them. I did not find them too tight on their legs however their legs are not what I would refer to as thick. The cuff on the sock is not overly tight though. The entire section where the faces are on the socks ...are elasticized.
