Answer:	These boat toys are certified safe for ages 18 months and up. The government classifies toys into 3 age groups - for all ages, for 18 months and up and for ages 3 years old and up. All toys are required to be tested in a US government approved lab to meet the standards deemed appropriate for the age group. We submitted our testing for 18 months and up and received certification approval. Amazon divides their toys into different age groups - under 2 years old (the baby category) or over 2 years old (the childrens category.) Since our toys fall into both categories we had to choose one. We chose the 2 years old and up classification as that seemed the most appropriate since our toys are also enjoyed by kids ages 3, 4 and 5 years old. I hope this helps. Answer:	There are no holes in them. We did not have any mold issues. I used them in my grandkids water table, and I usually dry everything off when they are done.
