Question:	One of the trees I want to install this around is 10ft in diameter. Will it fit
Answer:	No, but with a long enough zip-line cable you could make the 10’ diameter tree your starting point (with the cable wrapped around it) and end at a smaller diameter tree (with the ratchet strap loops).
Question:	Does this attach at the beginning of the zip line or the end? We installed a zip line but need it snugger and the more difficult part was the end
Answer:	The ratchet system is at the end according to the installation instructions. There are hooks at the end of the main & back-up ratchet straps that you clip to the loop at the end of your zip-line cable.
Question:	My end of zipline is tied using 3 clamps after wrapping around tree couple times. Can I use zip quick system to tension the zipline
Answer:	Yes! It works great for helping with tension and easy to install

Question:	Could this be used with a 5/8th cable
Answer:	We just put ours up yesterday. We used 3/8th cable, Riders were from 5 years old to 61 years old. Had a blast.
Question:	Will this work on 1/4" cable
Answer:	Yes it will. You just have to pull back a little further before the breaking and gauges since the cable is quite small. We also have our backyard trolley which works well on quarter inch. The price on that is $245 but we would be willing to sell it for the same price, $195. The backyard trolley is a little and lighter and a bit easier for kids to handle.

Question:	Will this fit 1/2" cable
Answer:	Hi william m! It's compatible with your 1/2" cable. (1/2" equals 12.7mm). But pay attention to not use the skinny cable on it in case of jamming in the gap between sheave and plate.
Question:	Will this fit on 5/8" cable
Answer:	I don't think so. Best to get a trolley made for a certain diameter steel cable. Mine was 1/4 inch or 3/8.
Question:	Can it attach to an existing cable? Meaning it doesnt need to be threaded
Answer:	The cable or rope goes under the the pulleys and then you clip the carabiner to prevent the cable or rope from coming out. You can put this pulley onto a tight line without access to either end.
Question:	What is the max weight per person
Answer:	Not sure exactly but, 200lbs would be the heaviest I think I’ve had on the line, with no drag.

Answer:	Depends on how fast and heavy the rider is. About half size for a fast ride with a 70 pound child.
Question:	Will this work with 1/5 in cable
Answer:	!/5" cable is not a standard size, which makes me suspect some measuring error. Perhaps you have a metric size or 7/16"? In either case, if the cable is actually 1/5", yes, this spring will work as it fits from 3/16" up to 1/2". I would caution you though, if you are making a zipline of any real length and not using at least 1/4" cable you are setting yourself up for some bad outcomes.
Question:	Could I install this on an existing zip line without taking it down? Could you cut the stopper and slide it on
Answer:	Sorry, you need take it donw, and then cross the spring brake!
Question:	Could two of these be used on the same cable
Answer:	Sure but y... I put chain at the end to shorten the distance

Question:	Where is this made
Answer:	Stainless Steel.
Question:	With a 450 ft zip line, for kids & adults, will 3 springs be a good enough backup with our handbrake
Answer:	It will depend upon the slope of the line and the weight of the people. I have two springs for 150 foot line. I use a ratchet cable winch at the bottom of my line. When the kids are riding, I leave slack in the cable so it bottoms out about 20 feet from the end. They still clear the ground, but the rise then gently slows them before they hit the spring. When it is tight, they need to hang on because they swing when they hit the spring.
Question:	What is the max weight of the rider that it can stop
Answer:	It stops me at 185lbs. Lighter riders (like kids) may experience a rapid reversing effect as the spring loads and then springs back.
Question:	Can I use this on a rope instead of a cable
Answer:	I i haven't tried that. I would guess as long as the rope was the same size as the cable. A rope would probably wear with the friction more than a cable

Installation:

1. Before installing the zip line system, the cable should be insterted into the spring.

2. Cross the cable from one end to another end.

Answer:	The existing zip line will have to be disconnected at the end where the brake coil is to be installed. The coil is fed over the end of the zip line cable before the cable is reconnected.
