Question:	Is there a weight limit that this will stop? I understand different speeds and forces are involved but will it break if a 250lb person uses it
Answer:	Honestly, I would be afraid to try. Ours was up for about a year and my 90lb. 13 year old granddaughter slammed into a try when the brake line snapped. Fortunately no bones were broken but she was hurt. The company told me there was no warranty and not even an apology. We replaced it with a much heavier bungee cord. Anyway, examine your equipment on a regular basis and no at 250lbs. I would never trust it.
Question:	Does this brake work with the Eagle 70' Seated Zipline
Answer:	I think the brake will work with any zipline because they are not connected in any way. The brake block is installed on the line and stops the "zipper."
Question:	where did you attach this to? (slackers recommends 100 lb bag) other options
Answer:	we attached it to one of those screw in the ground dog tie outs.
Question:	How is this installed - if you only have 20' of Bungee it seems that it will only work on short (20 foot) zip lines - Is taht correct or can I install
Answer:	Our zip line is 90 feet. I just put the block on the line and then attached the line to the front of my lawn tractor. I then moved the tractor closer or further away depending on the weight of the person on the zip line. There is a lot of stretch to the line. I did also use a stake to attach the end of the line in the lawn. We ran into trouble when my 13 year old moved the stake and did not get it deep enough in the ground. The line pulled the stake out of the ground when she hit the end and the line flipped toward her and stuck her. Had an emergency room visit, two doctor calls and two sessions with a physical therapist. It really hit her hard. So be careful to have it securely attached. The lawn tractor works well as it is moved easily. The tractor is about 1/2 of the way between the jump off point and the destination point. Good Luck. It is a lot of fun but it needs to be supervised.

It takes a certain length to wrap around the tree, so the distance between the two trees needs to be less than 108ft.

The main cable length is 118ft and the line length should be leaved more for a shorter ride.

Question:	Whats the weight limit
Answer:	A quick response to this and trying to simplify it as much as possible, pull it as tight as you can get it by hand attach two of the cable locks and have the turnbuckle loosened some this way you can always go back and tighten a little more. Test it like this with your weight don't actually ride it just go to the middle of the line and hang your weight on the cable if the cable drops more than two feet you can tighten the turnbuckle a little and then add the rest of your clamps when you're satisfied. it is important not to over tighten the nuts on the clamps until you are fully satisfied with the position. once you tighten them down they tend to break when you try to loosen them. this product was my first zipline ever installed and in the future I would buy more cable clamps just to be prepared until you get it exactly how you want it. My zip line currently when I ride the zipline my knees almost drag the ground when a child rides they are about three foot to 4 foot above the ground depending on their weight. This dramatic drop is partially because one of my trees is a lot smaller and sways a little with my weight. The good thing about this product is the seat is adjustable also so for heavier Riders you raise the seat or lower it for lighter Riders they don't always have to hold the handles on the cable they can just sit on the seat and hold the Rope. Also I recommend you purchase a spring brake

Answer:	Use the 6' 7" cable as a model, purchase a long enough plastic coated cable with the same gage and strength as your model and attach it to the tree with the cable clamps.
Question:	my starter tree is very thick its 14' around so what will i use instead of 6'7" sling cable
Answer:	There is only 1 tree sling. The end tree ises the cable wrapping around the tree
Question:	My trees are 120" apart, will the tree slings make of the difference if the tree is small diameter, like 1 foot
Answer:	If you install this according to the directions you won’t get stuck. Regardless, this is designed to be mounted somewhat close to the ground. It’s all determined by the height of the user.

Answer:	Depends on how fast and heavy the rider is. About half size for a fast ride with a 70 pound child.

Answer:	!/5" cable is not a standard size, which makes me suspect some measuring error. Perhaps you have a metric size or 7/16"? In either case, if the cable is actually 1/5", yes, this spring will work as it fits from 3/16" up to 1/2". I would caution you though, if you are making a zipline of any real length and not using at least 1/4" cable you are setting yourself up for some bad outcomes.
Question:	Could I install this on an existing zip line without taking it down? Could you cut the stopper and slide it on

The outdoor zipline needs a buffer before the end point to eliminate the kinetic energy, otherwise it will cause danger.

Question:	I want to build a platform to raise my son's power wheel with him in it. Will 4 pieces of this support about 250 pounds
Answer:	I'm pretty sure that even one piece would "support" that weight. The question is, "how much stretch can you tolerate?" The elastic interior will stretch until the internal restoration force equals the applied load...up to the limit of the deformation of the external nylon sleeve. Then the sleeve will begin carrying load until something breaks. A system with 4 pieces will have quite a bit of stretch before lifting 250lbs off the ground...my wild guess is 50% stretch (but I haven't worked with the stuff in over a year so I may be remembering incorrectly).
Question:	What is the minimum lbs of weight would you estimate to stretch a single piece of the half inch shock cord to its full length
Answer:	I don't believe there is a break rating to this cord. I use it to stop zip liners. I use it doubled up (with the hope that if one breaks the other will hold) and it will stop a big guy without a lot of problems. I WOULDN'T use it to jump off a bridge though. Bad idea!
Question:	Will this hold up for six months out in the weather
Answer:	I'm using it as a zipline brake. I've had it outside for 2 years now and we live up north where the winters are harsh. It's held up great so far, no signs of wear.

Answer:	I'll just say NO bungee/shock cord is SAFE to 100% stretch!! WHY try to push it to that limit. Sure, it might be capable to do that once or twice but when it DOES fail, ( REPEAT, DOES) WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES. Do yourself a favor..... plan on 75% This all coming from a guy that uses it to stop loved ones at the bottom of a 9% grade (steep) 1,000 ft. zip-line!! Unless your planning on using it for a bungee jump...LOL Then you need to contact a engineering Co.

Question:	I want to use for zip line brake, how far can it streech from its starting 25 feet
Answer:	It stretches to about 12 feet before it starts to retract.

Answer:	I used it for zip line braking system. Their was no direct weight applied. However, it is very strong material and I believe it would work using multiple cords.

Installation:

1. Before installing the zip line system, the cable should be insterted into the spring.

2. Cross the cable from one end to another end.

3. Place the spring brake on the turnbuckle side and keep a safe distance from the end point.

Answer:	The existing zip line will have to be disconnected at the end where the brake coil is to be installed. The coil is fed over the end of the zip line cable before the cable is reconnected.
