Answer:	Typically the size and the weight - the intermediate set has 100mm balls which are a bit heavier (total weight for the shipping on that set is 7.9lbs). The recreational set has 90mm balls (total weight for the shipping on that set is 7.6lbs). Usually the the intermediate set would cost more, but it looks like due to the current sale on the intermediate set it's actually less expensive than the rec set at the moment.

Question:	Wife and girlfriend were taliking about their love of cornholing? Is this set for them
Answer:	I know this will not answer your question. But I thought I would give it a shot. I bought the game to donate to the Ronald McDonald's house. Before giving it to them I did open it and make sure it was worthy. The circular hole is approximately 5 1/2 inches diameter. This is from memory. The quality of the product is really good and worth the price. Someone questioned whether new bean bags could be purchased, I would suggest making your own out of dried oeas/beans/rice. The bag versus the hole is a challenge, but not too difficult for children.
