Answer:	I too, ordered this for a 1 year old. As I was unpacking it, I thought the parts on the small cars seemed awfully small. I checked the box and found it recommended for age 3 and up. The site correctly says this now, but I find it hard to believe another customer had this same issue around the same time as my purchase. I am careful about checking the age appropriateness of a toy before purchasing, so I have a hunch something changed here. Glad they corrected it though. I let him have the hauler for now and will hold the small cars until he is older.

Answer:	I’m not sure. I had to return it because when it arrived, it apparently went through WWIV on the way to my house and was smashed and dented up bad. The axles were bent so bad that it wouldn’t even roll. So they may want to change the toys name to “Cat Construction Sort of Tough Machines”. Just a thought.

Answer:	They were a Christmas gift for my grandson so I have only seen them once, but they were approximately 10 inches long by 5-6 inches high.

Answer:	Same! It was making the same 6 sounds for a month - now it’s suddenly making 6 different noises ?! We can’t get the original sounds back and this says 14– I didn’t see anything in the manual about how to change them.

Answer:	No its smaller in scale. Closer to lego size.

Answer:	Yes, the base can easily be removed. The crane is top heavy though. My son uses a large board book to stabilize the base so I’m not sure it would stay upright in a cake.
