Answer:	I found the best way to expand the track was to buy another complete set. That is what I did and was able to use all the tracks from both sets as well as get two new cars. The power source was able to run the additional set easily. As far as buying just track sections by themselves , I could not find any for a reasonable price. Purchasing an entire additional set is the best way to go

Answer:	It depends on the scale of track and the brand. For a 1/43 Carrera GO set, the 62480 DTM Master Class has a track length of a little over 29 feet. The 62522 Victory Lap is a close second with a little over 28 feet. The 62476 Disney Cars set is approximately 16 feet. All sets can be expanded with either track extension sets or individual track pieces of track as well as an extensive accessory line.
Question:	Recommended ages is 6+, my kids are slightly younger (4-5). Assuming I handle the electronics/setup/cleaning, do you think a 4-5 year old could use
Answer:	I have been using this track with my 5 year old son. You are correct in your thinking about this product. You will definitely have to do the setup and maintenance. But with a little practice your kids will be able to use the track. The controllers come with governors attached so that you cannot depress the accelerator the whole way, which helps a younger driver. If you just hold it down without the governor the cars just fly off the track because they go so fast. It's easy to remove/replace the governor clip. This track is pretty cool, but it is also pretty small and featureless. The cars just go round and round a figure 8 and it quickly gets boring. For only $12 more, you can get the Carrera Go!! Race for Victory Track Set, also sold on Amazon. This set has a loop-the-loop, 2 banked curves, and a bridge. After my wife bought the boring GT contest track, I actually bought the Race for Victory Track Set and put them together because the GT contest track was so boring. I thought about buying extension track pieces instead and looked into it, but it was still expensive. So in the end, I felt that the GT Contest track was a waste and I should have just bought the Race For Victory track. Happy racing!

Answer:	I also faced issues with batteries. I use 3 AAA Duracell batteries, but they hardly last for few hours. I turn car off, still it seems it sucks the battery. Overall its great but due to batteries issue, its not not so good.

There are some interesting accessory sets available too.I was in a hobby shop for twenty years and did many reviews of toy and hobby items for local newspapers and TV. All of these items are made in China and are aimed at the "throw away" toy market. At $19.95 for a one car set you get good play value, beyond that price it's up to you if this toy is worth it. Shop around!

Answer:	Lol - in our box were a lot of really great track pieces ... and a totally useless car that did not work. We got another set where the car worked fine. We did not purchase through Amazon for these, unfortunately. The tracks are wonderful, but I've found dozens of other reviews saying the cars don't work at all, or stop working within hours or days. A friend yesterday recommended getting the Mindscope Neon Glow Twister Tracks cars to go with the Magic Trax (since they don't sell cars separately for Magic Trax). She said those cars work great on the Magic Trax.
