They just stay at the bottom and eat what the birds throw down.One of mine has rusted on the bottom, about 2 inches up, I have two of them on tall shepherds hooks and they are fine. I have two on a piece of 2" pvc pipe that I have constructed, with a tee across the top and hang two bird feeders on each end. One of the ones on the pvc pipe has some rust at the bottom. Probably shows up more because of the white pvc. The other three are just fine. Have been up for three seasons now. They stay out year round. |

This collector’s toy is packaged in a cardboard box that was inspired by the artwork used on the packaging for the first Slinky in 1945. The spring is even a black metal to reproduce the look of the original Slinky. Slinky is proudly made in America and continues to be a favorite toy of children and adults all over the world.
