I believe one was a car/cart of some kind, a rocket, and a robot. This was back in November of 2019, so my memory could of failed me. But I am certain, no book of any kind was included. I guess it is really left up to the child's creativity & imagination!

Answer:	Roughly 18". I gave this to my grandkids so I don't know for sure. However, I wouldn't purchase again. The poles come apart from the connectors easily. The kit didn't make a very big structure. My 3 & 4 year old grandkids were nearly too big to use it and it was flimsy when put together. Nice idea that needs some work.

Answer:	The Kid K'NEX Oodles of Pals Building Set parts are larger, softer plastic parts for small hands to easily manipulate and they snap together like regular K'NEX but they are not compatible.

Answer:	Kid K'NEX parts will work with parts from other Kid K'NEX sets. They will not work with the smaller parts in regular "K'NEX" sets so be sure to look for sets that say "Kid K'NEX".

Answer:	I bought them both for my large family. The XXL set seems to have about 2x the pieces and comes with several expansion pieces that the regular set doesn’t. It also includes 6 base pieces instead of 4. Whether you should buy the regular or extra large set may depend on whether you want the unique obstacles included or are willing to pay for expansions.

Answer:	Yes! But don't buy the book! It is a total waste! You need 350 of your own Legos in order to build the things that are in the book! My son was so disappointed with it!

Answer:	I think it's suitable for 8 years. There are instructions to read to help build the different devices, but there are pictures as well to help with the parts needed for building. I think it would effect for this age. I use it with second and third graders and they do well with all parts of the kit. I'd recommend it!
Question:	Does the lego classic medium creative brick box 10696 have everything i need to make all the machines
Answer:	I think you will need more. For example, the pop-up flag & falling hammer project uses 11 (2 of those included) 8x2's. One project also includes a 4 peg slope brick that I can't see in the picture of the brick box. For the pulley and bucket project, you'll need what looks like 28 4x2's (or pieces that add up to those).
Question:	What is the main age group this book is written for
Answer:	There is no way to attach a number to who could benefit from this book. I purchased it for my then 7 year old grandson. However, his Dad and I have been very active with him with other hands on building projects since he could walk. That being said, at seven he still struggled to figure out some of the possibilities presented in this book. Some even put my 68 year old brain to the test. Whatever the age, be prepared to work with the person and enjoy doing it.
