Answer:	I don't have the box anymore, I think it said 5 and up, but my son who is 2 LOOOVES it! It is programmed to do dances and the "patrol mode" it will just walk around on its own. I think the 5 and up references that there is a remote for it and you can program it to do a series of things and you need to be older to be able to understand the advanced features.

Answer:	Yes via the remote. I haven’t noticed it being very loud.

Answer:	You can program with the 45 piece botley. The 45 pieces is the coding cards, though. I like the 72 piece one better. I think it is worth the money to get the extra pieces.

Answer:	I hadn't tried it on carpet but I would think itd work just as fine as long as the carpet isn't super long. You can use the mouse just on the hardwood floor itself or a table top too. You don't have to use the maze board. I just didn't want to get any hair wrapped up in the wheels by using hit on the floor
