Answer:	For future reference, I found only listings for Geosafari _JR_ Talking Microscopes. All the photos I could find for that model clearly indicate that Geosafari Jr slides are encased in some kid of plastic framework for use with only the Geosafari Jr Talking Microscopes. Silly? Yes I agree but Marketing rules. As such, IMHO regular slides (such as those in the AmScope set) will _not_ work in Geosafari Jr Talking Microscopes without heroic measures.

Answer:	It comes with a couple slides and they are probably counting them separately as well as the other little things that you would think mean one item. The items are very hard to get out of the case and are very poorly made with the exception of the microscope, although mine has a big black thing IN the shaft that I cant get out and blocks some of my view.

(But as far as the set itself....I'd purchase a slightly nicer one, the lense came dusty and had to take a part and clean and it's not very sturdy like it claims in the description.)

Question:	I want to ask if I buy this pack of slides, what microscope power should be used or any brand or models of microscopes would you suggest
Answer:	It depends on one's purpose: if the set is for a middle school student just to introduce him / her to microscopy, the 25 slide set is adequate, but if one is going to actually use the set for studying for preparation for college courses, then the more slides the better. There's only a $15 difference between 50 slides and 100 slides; if it comes down to whether to get 50 or 100 slides, for $15 extra, I would get the 100-slide set and have it sent free shipping. But if simply to introduce a middle school student to microscopy, the 15-slide set is adequate. Our middle school granddaughter seldom looks at the slides but they are always there if she wants to look at them. In this day and age, one could just as easily study histology on photographs of slides on the internet, and use the 15-set slide just to show kids where the actual photographs come from. If that makes sense.

Answer:	I have gone on record as saying that the quality of 95% of the slides are so poor that any set would be a waste of money. Good slide preps obviously cost more than this apparent bargain.

Answer:	I think it is just a different selection of slides. I don't remember having to choose between the two versions though. I can tell you that my set is all biological specimens with a wide range of mammalian, insect, and plant sections. I think they sell a 200 slide set, and if I was a betting man, I would bet they divide that into two sets for the 100 slide set.

Mostly the 4 and 10. you can check out any local university surplus. they sometimes have amazing quality microscopes for pretty cheap. otherwise, likely any microscope would do. I would get one with an internal light source rather than the reflector.

Answer:	Honestly, I don’t think it would work well. The hole to view it through is very tiny and needs to be focused perfectly. I don’t think pictures would turn out unfortunately.
