13 best mova globes
Mova Globes are unique and captivating decorative items that combine elements of art, science, and technology. They are related to Geographic Globes, Learning Education, and Toys Games. Here's what you need to know about Mova Globes:
Rotating Globes: Mova Globes are spherical objects that resemble traditional geographical globes. What sets them apart is their ability to rotate continuously, seemingly without any external power source. They create an illusion of perpetual motion, which adds to their aesthetic appeal.
Technology: The rotation of Mova Globes is made possible by an innovative technology that relies on solar cells and Earth's magnetic field. Inside the globe, there is a fluid-filled sphere with a hidden, low-power motor. The solar cells on the globe's surface collect ambient light, which powers the motor. The Earth's magnetic field then provides the necessary force to initiate and maintain the rotation.
Design Variety: Mova Globes come in various designs and sizes, featuring different maps and patterns. Some display detailed world maps, while others focus on specific themes like celestial maps of the night sky or artistic interpretations. The outer shells of the globes are typically made of high-quality materials such as acrylic or glass, which enhance their visual appeal.
Decorative and Educational: Mova Globes serve both decorative and educational purposes. They make for stunning decorative pieces in homes, offices, and classrooms, attracting attention and sparking conversations. Additionally, they can be used as educational tools to teach geography, astronomy, and Earth's rotational principles.
Low Maintenance: These globes require minimal maintenance. They don't need batteries or winding, and they can operate continuously as long as they receive adequate ambient light. Periodic dusting and cleaning are usually sufficient to keep them looking their best.
Customization: Some Mova Globe manufacturers offer customization options, allowing customers to create personalized globes with specific map designs or patterns. This makes them unique gifts or promotional items.
Collectible Items: Mova Globes have gained popularity among collectors due to their intricate designs and the fascinating technology behind them. Collectors often seek out limited-edition or special-themed globes to add to their collections.
Gift Ideas: Mova Globes make for excellent gifts for geography enthusiasts, science lovers, or anyone who appreciates art and innovation. They are suitable for various occasions, including birthdays, holidays, and graduations.
In summary, Mova Globes are mesmerizing decorative and educational items that blend art, science, and technology. They rotate continuously through a combination of solar power and Earth's magnetic field, making them both visually captivating and intellectually engaging. With a wide range of designs and customization options, Mova Globes have become sought-after collectibles and thoughtful gifts.

Question: | What kind of guarentee comes with this globe |
Answer: | " It contains an inner globe that rotates within the fixed acrylic outer shell. The space between them is filled with a clear, non-toxic fluid that provides buoyancy and prevents contact between the two globes. The inner globe, floating and turning in a virtually frictionless environment, is akin to the earth itself. A highly efficient drive mechanism within the inner globe ensures rotation in virtually any ambient light. Solar cells harness that energy, and a magnetic element reacts to the earth's magnetic field in the manner of a common compass to provide torque. The optical properties of both the outer shell and fluid have been carefully chosen to magnify features on the inner globe. As a result, the outer globe appears to rotate despite resting on the stand." |

User questions & answers
Question: | What’s the issue if my mova moves back and forth? no steady movement like when i first got it |
Answer: | It is easier to explain MAX. If you press the MAX/MIN button once, it will display the greatest reading it measures. If the wind speed drops below the highest value measured to that point in time, the reading does not change. If the wind speed exceeds the value on the display the speed will change (increase). The MIN works in the same way. Except that it shows the lowest speed measured. So if you set it to MIN when the reading is zero, the reading will not change. Thanks for the question. I learned something about my meter. |
Question: | Will the 4.5” moon be restocked soon |
Answer: | Hi! Dear Friend, Thanks for your attention and question. Of course. This digital anemometer is perfect for measuring the air flow of air conditioner. |
Question: | is the moon surface relected accurately |
Answer: | One of ours quit working after install- there is a very small reset button by the power jack that will restore function. Press, wait a few seconds, and it will come back on! |
Question: | Does the moon have an obvious line like it does in the picture |
Answer: | I think your question should be modified to "Why can't I get it to transmit 1080i/60Hz via cat6 over a 200ft distance?". If you are having trouble with distance, then several things need to be considered: 1. All connectors are Cat6 and properly crimped. 2. Ensure the Cat6 cable is not parallel to electrical lines (especially 240VAC). 3. Ensure the Cat6 cable is perpendicular when they cross and try to get as much distance between them. 4. Ensure the Cat6 cable is not crimped over its length. 5. Ensure the TV receiving it the 1080i signal can support that conversion and that the correct HDMI input is selected. 6. Ensure Cat6 cable is dedicated just for this transmission. |

Question: | i want to buy this and ship to hk, why not all MOVA globes b able to ship to hk, but just some |
Answer: | Yes, this is the same style as the previous "Antique Beige." The map is political in that it shows the boundaries of each country while each country is also in a different color. |
Question: | Does it spin slower than an earth globe?Mine spins super slow and the earth globe I have is fast. Constellation globe spins at one rotation every 15m |
Answer: | The globe itself is space age glass of actual photographic plates of the planets, some asteroids and one of the Cassini 1700 depiction of the constellations of that time in beautiful artistry. The outer glass shell is extremely thin and clear. Between the 2 globes is the clear oil in which the inner globe rotates. Its a unique design that inspires understanding. I bought 3, the 4 1/2 inch size and I am very pleased. They are expensive but worth the price. I find I now search out more information about the planets and Solar System thanks to these small actual replicas. If you purchase one make sure you check out the various base styles; acrylic, plastic rods, natural woods, etc. They enhance the setting. |
Question: | Does it come with a stand |
Answer: | Usually we don't do international shipping but if you give me a couple days Ill try my best to see if I can arrange this for you. Also we have 4 different colors for the globe unstuck at the moment. We have Antique, geographic, political and black and silver All the globes are the same price. Ill contact you ASAP when i have all the shipping information. |
Question: | What is the globe made of |
Answer: | You are correct! Inside of our globes, we place a complex mixture of fluids; some which have different density levels. The liquids we use are oily, which allow the inner globe to spin in a friction free environment. |

User questions & answers
Question: | is there a difference between the relief and the political globe |
Answer: | Hi! The "Political Map" MOVA has every nation highlighted in its own color. This makes it easy to differentiate between one country and the next, but also gives the continents a lively appearance when placed atop a vibrant blue ocean backdrop. The "Relief Map" MOVA has each landmass depicted in green and brown shades that show terrain features with every mountainous region and desert being clearly shown. |
Question: | I have a Mova globe like this and it just quit rotating recently. Any ideas of how to fix |
Answer: | We have one which was in a glass cabinet. It worked well for about two years, then it appears that the map globe inside the clear sphere developed a leak and sank. /has anyone been able to fix one? |
Question: | what is the difference between a political and relief globe |
Answer: | It's the coloring of the globe. Political is the multicolored bright blue globe outlining the political borders of each country. The relief is more brown, tan and sepia (think old world) and shows mountains ranges and ocean currents. Just as an FYI, these globes are great for about 2-3 years and then they stop spinning. Fun while they last but whatever is inside that keeps them going by the daylight burns out eventually. Hope that helps! |
Question: | If we purchased 300 could you ship these to Belgium |
Answer: | The Amazon listing for this product, at least those featuring free shipping, are limited to delivery within the continental United States. Shipping outside the continental United States requires special arrangements. You may contact us through Amazon to discuss your options. |
