Answer:	No. However, the land masses and oceans fade so they don't compete with the constellations. Best viewed at night in the dark (like the real stars). I bought this for a young child and she was fascinated.

Answer:	There is a storage space on the right side of the bottom stand for the pen. My grandson (age 6) keeps the pen in the storage space when not in use. I am not sure if one end of string can be attached/tied to pen as it has it might slip off or rather one could try tape,but that might get in the way of the child using the pen to locate places. This is not an issue for my grandson as he understands the importance of putting the pen back in the storage place when not in use.

Answer:	Fat Brain Toys has a number of different marble runs, but they recently released a plastic marble run that is compatible with our toys. If the pieces you have look similar to our pieces, then yes they are compatible. However, this set is not compatible with their other marble runs (e.g. wood). Answer:	From the contradictory answers on the part of the company rep vs. the video and the dimensions given for height, I'm guessing that the company rep did not understand the difference between "diameter" (the distance across, measured through dead center) and "circumference" (the distance around a sphere -- the Equator is a circumference). A 12" diameter globe would be basketball size. A 29" diameter globe would be the height of an average dining-room table. Big difference!

Answer:	It does light up. It rotates by hand really well. (globe is not motorized)

Answer:	The globe is more geographical (mountains, forests, rivers and deserts) than political (state borders). The deep ocean is a darker blue than the shallow ocean. Rugged mountains are shown in a darker brown, deserts in tan, forests in green. Countries and states are named (if large enough), but boundaries are only shown for countries, not states. Only the very largest cities are named, which does not include most state capital. 13 inches is too small to show all the state capitals, I would recommend a wall map for that. I believe the light is an LED which should never need replacing. The globe can be disassembled for LED replacement, but you would have to carefully remove the equator tape and reapply it when re-assembling it. The globe is two hemispheres that fit together at the equator. The globe is more professional than any 12 or 13-inch globe I’ve seen. I’m very happy with it.

The Parlamondo features 1,000's of interesting facts about countries all over the world. Simply point your talking pen to identify the information contained on the globe. The political map also makes identifying places on the globe easy.

Illumination Brings a New Perspective

Use the included cords to plug into the globe to provide a new perspective. Simply toggle the inline switch to turn the internal light (LED) on and off. Many find with the illumination on that the globe makes a nice backlight in a room or nightlight for kids. It also brings a unique perspective to the cartography.

On Globe Selection Chart

We have printed the options selection chart directly on the globe, so no looking around for lost papers or charts. Simply tap your talking pen to the information you seek and the language you desire then start touching your pen around the globe to find the information you desire.

Example USA Map Styling

Many people ask us if the USA states are separated. We have delineated individual states with red lines to make their individual borders easy to identify. Each country is set with its own color for easy identification as well.

The Parlamondo Rechargeable Talking Pen

This feature rich talking pen is packed with information. You will find easy to use controls to turn up and down the volume on the pen as well as turning it on or off.

We have also included a charging USB cord designed for this pen. You can charge it by simply plugging it into a USB charging port or can use the included wall charger. The pen will automatically turn off if not in use for a period of time.

Question:	Does it give you the correct answer if you answer wrong when playing a game
Answer:	The current version of the Intelliglobe is offered in English language only.
Question:	The old Intelliglobe was available with a choice of languages (4 different languages?). Does the new globe also have that feature
Answer:	No, there is no way to connect in order to update, but a lot of the information is basic information that would not need updating. There are many different categories for each country. My daughter loves listening to the national anthems of all of the countries. The book that comes with the globe can also be used with the smart pen so there is also information about the stars and other planets.
Question:	Is the information about the world and the US updatable so it does not become static
