You can reinforce the letter-word association by quickly reviewing each tile after the game has ended. Cover either the photo or the letters and ask the child to identify what is covered, but don't let this review detract from the fun of the game. If you take a peek at alphabet books for little children, you will see a picture that begins with the letter on that particular page, helping the child learn the sounds of letters. |

The different seems to be that Zingo Word Builder has three words per card and is played more like a challenge game. What's Gnu seems to be true world building, card by card. I purchased Zingo because I have multiple Zingo games in my classroom. Once the students learned to play one game, they could easily figure out how to play Zingo 1-2-3, Word Builder, Sight Word, etc. Hope this helps. |

| Answer: | No they are not stable on carpet. They will fall over with lightest of breezes. You must anchor them, I use 2 short pieces of 2×4. The other thing is they are flimsy. If you hit one of these with a 5" you WILL destroy the gate. I've clipped a couple with 120 mm and without duct tape they would not exist now. Even a 90 mm did damage. They are a great idea that could have been executed better. The gates that consist of fiberglass rods and nylon sleeves are far more durable. |

| Answer: | The quills on mine are NOT rubber, but are a sturdy, hollow plastic. That being said, I'm sure a set of strong gums / teeth could make permanent indents in them because they are hollow. Each quill has a very tiny hole in each end (1.5 mm wide), probably for manufacturing purposes, but it's big enough that saliva or bathwater could get trapped inside and grow gunk if you aren't careful. Each quill is 3 5/8" long. The circular part that pokes into the hedgehog body is about 5/8" in diameter and slides 1" into the body. The ergonomic end for little fingers to hold is a 7/8" x 5/8" oval. |

It smells like plastic when you put your nose directly to the mat, but ours was definitely not as bad as others stated. We couldn't smell it while playing (indoors) and it did not bother us at all. My son loves this game, we still play it often! |

| Answer: | I placed my order November 2018 and there is no issue. You can exit the loop by either landing on the exit, or the 3 and 5 spaces (assuming you get a plus when you roll the operations die.) In other words, they are placed correctly on my board. |
