Answer:	The frequencies might be slightly different with each other for each set

Answer:	These radios are in fact Ham radios. You are free to operate on FRS frequencies 400-470 mgz at low wattage. The more powerful frequencies GMRS do require a license. Be careful as these frequencies can overlap and you can be fined. The seller (description doesn't tell you that).

Answer:	In the Amazon product page is says up to 2 miles depending on terrain. We use them for when some is out in the workshop which is about 100 feet from the house or if someone is on the tractor at the far end of the field, we have 10 acres.
