Crunchy Brussels Sprouts Slaw

• 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
• 2 tablespoons sherry vinegar
• 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
• 1 pound Brussels sprouts, washed and dried
• 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
• 1/2 cup dried cherries
• 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
• Ground pepper to taste

Directions:

1. In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, vinegar, mustard, and pepper. Set aside.
2. Remove stems and slice Brussels sprouts so they have the appearance of slaw. (You can also shred the Brussels sprouts in a food processor by pulsing once or twice.)
3. Place the Brussels sprouts in a large bowl and add the pecans and cherries.
4. Drizzle in dressing and toss until coated.
5. Garnish with blue cheese and pepper.

Answer:	Jeff, I believe this model is based on George Pal's famous 1950 movie, Destination Moon. Even the poster for that movie shows off this spaceship. Since Amazon Women on the Moon is something of a spoof on 1950s sci-fi, it may very well be the same or a very similar version of that spaceship.

Answer:	I added three extra passenger cars and a small amount of extra track. The engine pulls with ease on a flat service. I posted a video recently and ran the train very slowly to capture close ups as I also added passengers to the cars. The engine was only at 15% power. At 60% it flies. Clean track and good solid connections are key. This is using the wall wart power supply which is included with the set.

Question:	Does anyone who has purchased this train set mind posting a video of the train in action? It would be great to hear the horn, bell, announcements
Answer:	If the switch for smoke is in the on position per guide pages 11 and 15 and you have added smoke fluid then smoke should operate when the locomotive starts to run. I have found with other locos that if smoke fails to appear after a short period carefully blow down the chimney to clear a possible airlock. I am not saying this works every time but worth a try.
