Answer:	That’s how I use it. It doesn’t show through a lot. But I can see a slight glow and I like it since I don’t like “highlighters”. It’s not like an oil. And I haven’t had any issues with break outs and I I have sensitive skin. Hope this helps.

Question:	What is the recommended age for this? I can't seem to find it
Answer:	The more expensive option is a completely different product that contains displays for growing crystals.
Question:	when it is all finished, how hard is the final crystal? can you take it out and mess with it, or is it something that has to stay in the container
Answer:	Yes. There are about 8-9 real crystals. They are pretty much exactly as shown on the box. My 7 year old daughter loved it. It takes a while to saw through enough of the plaster-stuff to get the rocks out. It is not a quick project. It kept her busy for quite a while (she took several days working on it for about 1/2 hour at a time). She'd get very excited to cut out a crystal then bring it inside (it's a very messy, dusty project, so it is best to be done outside) to wash it off and get a real good look at it. I'd recommend this kit to any one who likes to pretend to be an archeaologist, likes to play with dirt and tools or just likes pretty crystals.
Question:	Is there any way I can request red or blue
Answer:	I do not know what the plaster is made of. Thinking it is regular plaster. It should be listed in the description. I do know the kids had a lot of fun. And it kept their intrest. Ages were 6 yrs, 4 yrs and 10yrs.

Answer:	The weather kit makes a REAL WORKING WEATHER STATION,hence "reusable" We have used it at the Da Vinci Science Center for 22 kids- and plan to use it again in Dec 2014 (25 kids). It is to track weather changes, allows the data to be plotted, and lets the kids share their data to learn the temperatures in one town vary a great deal-and are not always the same as at the AIRPORT!

Question:	Is this too difficult for a 5 year old
Answer:	According to the packaging warnings, yes, it is. However, the most basic care and attention can avoid any issues. Example, do not consume the chemicals with clear labels of their toxicity. You basically grow the crystal then put it in a display case. It is not for handling. I am not the most careful individual in the world and I did not perish using the product. My cat was smart enough not to consume the product as well. However, if someone were to get ill from the product, I think that would be considered natural selection more than anything.

Answer:	Crystals start growing immediately and are full size in 7-10 days, as long as the directions are followed carefully.

Answer:	For years. YEARS. It's been at least five years since I've last made these and their all missing their broken display cases but they just sit on my shelf. They are all perfectly fine, aside from maybe being pretty dusty.
