Answer:	We returned ours as the white drawing area was peeling off in the folds/creases. So while I do not know for certain if it can be washed or not, I would probably not recommend it be washed. I do not think it's made of quality material that would hold up to anything more than a very light cloth with water.

Answer:	No there is not supposed to be a catch. Ours does it too sometimes. I have noticed it is much less likely to happen if you secure the legs, then arms, then fold into truck and push the head down last.

Answer:	All 4 of these superheroes are boys. Most boys like male superheroes... they are more relatable. No one said girls can't wear this. Quit reading into this so much. I literally found this by typing into Amazon search "superhero capes for 2 year old boy" so the description helped me find it.
